Position Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to haul logs locally. This position offers steady year-round work and the benefit of being home every night.
Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a semi-truck to transport logs from job sites to mills or yards
• Properly secure loads and comply with all DOT regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate driving logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Requirements:
• Valid Class A CDL license
• Clean driving record
• Experience hauling logs, flatbeds, or heavy loads preferred
• Must be reliable and safety-conscious
• Ability to handle physical aspects of load securement
Schedule:
• Local routes in and around Greensboro
• Home daily
• (Optional: Add shift details, e.g., Monday–Friday, early morning start)
Compensation & Benefits:
• $1,000–$1,300 per week, depending on experience
• Paid weekly
• Home every night
