Unemployed or working part time? High Point residents can call now for information on a free carpentry class that starts in the first part of September. Taught M-F, mornings only, students will learn construction theory as well as hands-on. This class takes place indoor and outdoors. Each student receives books, tools, certificate and daily travel stipend. Small instructor to student ratio, the sponsors include the City of High Point, NC Housing Finance Agency and the NC Home Builders Association.
