I'm a 2000 Ford mustang V6 automatic. My engine is the 3.8L
I have 127k so my engine and transmission have quite a bit of life left in me.
I've lived with my owners since 04/04/2023. I'm not stock I have headers and I come with a weld in test pipe. Make me straight pipe again. my old owner had to have it removed when he moved to North Carolina to pass inspection. but the good news is I no longer have to pass emissions testing anymore only safety and that's only for 5 more years then no inspection at all then I will be free and clear to do any and all mods as along as there safe mods and don't in danger others.
My intake is ( cold air ) that been plumbed into the fender so no water can get to it and hydro lock the engine.
While in the cabin of me you can hear my intake pulling air like a small supercharger ( I am not supercharged) only sounds similar. When on the throttle.
Has brand new headlight with day time running lights.( Drl) The headlight bulbs are led.
-My Battery was replaced last year.
-Had my brakes done a few years ago including caliper rotors and pads and soft lines that looked bad.
I don't get driven all that much once or twice a week about 20 miles each time. Just to keep fluids moving and battery topped up.
When I was purchased I had 18x8 mustang wheels from a 2011 mustang they needed tires put on they still have rubber on them but are not good. The rims are fine just plasti-dipped and some is peeling off but can be removed. These rims can come with me if you buy me for my listed price so you can mix and match or have a set for track or street. Winter or summer just know with me you have options. I at the moment I have genuine SVT Cobra rims with BFG tires and there 17x9 (my owner will not separate from me unless you buy me and don't want my 17x9 wheels).
My windows are tinted and Ive had my driver's door window regulator replaced.
Now for the bad but fixable:
I've been in a postal accident with a Mail box my previous owner had a( MUSTANG MOMENT! ) there is minor damage to my lip of my fiberglass hood and cowl. the cowl needs replacement but I don't fly away or stop the hood from opening.
Also my driver door needs new hinges or roll pins this is a common issue with mustangs the door as they are long and heavy. They will shut if you open window a crack when inside. Then just close the window if you don't want it open. When on the outside of me my door shuts easy if you push up as you close. My door card is in 5/10 condition on the drivers side but I'm 26 years old so it's to be expected and with the door pins need replacement and a new regulator it's been thru a lot.
I do not have a radio the one that was in me was after market and was installed incorrectly and had electric issues with it after removing the issues went away. All wires have be tapped up with( ul listed electrical tape) to stop any contact with metal or each other. My owners use a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music when driving me.
I every once in a while i throw a code for a oxygen sensor failure so it probably going out. It's not a insufficient code or over flow it says failure. but the light hasn't come back on in a while but it's probably falling or has to do with the headers. Im unsure but there old and probably could use a cleaning or replacement. When the car starts to load up just WOT it for just a moment and let off and it will quite doing it. It's more than likely the O2 Sensor needs to be replaced. Do them as a set not just one. There are 4 of them.
I also will need new shocks and possibly bushings they are tired and old. I make noises.
So I'm a 26 year old mustang that can be fix if that what you want to do with me I will make a wonderful daily if you fix the few things with me. Or I can be your donor car you can take what you need from me to fix your project up.
I am price fairly ($4500 firm) take the car Plus you will get a second pair of 18x8 Ford mustang 2011 wheels they just need rubber I will come with my SVT Cobra rims.
If You don't want the svt wheels the price is ($3000 firm) I'd be happy to remove the wheel and put the others back on before you show up for the car. but remember you will need tires for them and that's reflected in the price it's not a bargaining chip to negotiate the price. The tires will get it home or on a trailer.
I do not recommend driving this car long distance the shocks really need replacement. They make noise and can make the car unsafe because of extra motion but these cars are ment to be modified so being a project car and the heavy after Market for them these are also not bargaining chips. But to each there own and you take full responsibility for your actions.
Don't have a truck rent one at Lowe's or home Depot!
don't have a trailer rent it at home Depot or Lowe's! Your lack of being able to transport will not help you with the price.
The distance you travel will not help you with the price you choose to look this far away for a vehicle these are your consequences.
