Im a 34 yr old singer with about 5 years experience in bands in the area. I know local venue owners, and can get gigs booked easily once i have a new apparatus up and running. My experience is in 90s rock/alt covers, and i would eventually like to get that idea up and running again. So if youre interested in that genre, dont hesitate to hit me up, no matter the instrument you play. HOWEVER, My heart has always been in traditionalist country. I would like to start with a guitar player to play coffee shops and other local venues and hopefully build a true, old school country act. (all instrumentalists, including steel guitar and fiddle please apply!) Hank Williams Sr, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings, would probably be the bulk of the older stuff i would enjoy doing. Of the "NEO- TRADITIONALIST" acts i would enjoy doing: George Strait, Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Brooks and Dunn, and other chart toppers from that era. I do not care much for any type of pop country, including the "bro country" of this era. There are a few who meet the traditional criteria, though, including Brantley Gilbert, Chris Stapleton, and select Chase Rice from his earlier recordings. Looking to eventually write originals as well. Anyone who's interested, please note, that i WILL NOT send you recordings of my voice. I just prefer face to face meetings, theyre much more enjoyable. Also, i dont play guitar either, but am looking to be able to put the four chords together in the next year or so. If this sounds like it may interest you, please hit me up! Traditional country needs a re-boot. and i think im just the guy to do it. All Ages greatly encouraged to apply!
