If you need a modest, but good sounding stereo system, this one is hard to beat. It starts with
a Rotel RA-870 integrated amp, rated at 60 watts per channel that will accommodate both
MM and MC phono cartridges. A Rotel RCD-970 CD player is included, as well as a Sansui
TU-217 tuner (and a Radio Shack powered antenna for the tuner). The Rotel RA-870 doesn't
have tone controls, so an ADC SS-100SL equalizer will be included also. These are all low
profile components, each about 4" in height, so they take up relatively little space.
