This is an ideal speaker system for someone who wants big, quality sound but has a small listening area !
Excellent Bose 2.1 passive speaker system... work perfectly, sounds wonderful and in excellent cosmetic shape ! This is a great 2.1 system with a big performance, while using minimum room space. A few tiny nics here and there but nothing distracting. One satellite's push-in wire connector is a little hard to pop back out, but once wire is connected it is secure and holds wire in place. AS with most 2.1 speaker systems... the subwoofer module can be placed anywhere in the listening room since the low frequencies are omnidirectional... on the floor near a corner, about 6-12" away from adjacent walls is ideal for best bass performance. The L & R satellites that produce the midrange & high frequencies are best positioned on shelves or stands, as ear-level as possible. The satellites usually require longer strands of speaker wire, and I can include all needed wires if buyer doesn't have some!
