This is a great turntable, fully restored by ME, who has restored and sold vintage audio for 40 yrs. I've completely rebuilt 100's and 100's of turntables and record changers. Don't waste your money on some new, cheaply made Chinese CRAP like a Crosley that won't last 2 years. Vintage tables from the 70's, once restored, have a MUCH better "build quality". And this BIC 920 has a hi-end SHURE cartridge and stylus which makes the most audible performance difference, esp when used with quality speakers.

Fully restored, mid-70's vintage, BIC 920 belt-drive, 2-speed (33 & 45) auto-return turntable! Can be setup as a changer, to play up to 6 LP's, when using the tall/stacking spindle. I'd highly recommend NOT stacking records, and just operating unit as a standard auto-return turntable, using the short/single-play spindle. Has a new belt, and a quality Shure M81 cartridge, with an NC 71 stylus. I completely disassembled the mechanism, cleaning off the old, dried-up grease, and relubing mechanism with fresh, white lithium grease. Also cleaned and oiled the motor for quiet operation and accurate speed. Cleaned out the cuing shaft and applied some new silicone dampening fluid so that tonearm lowers and raises slowly as it did when new! Made all user-adjustments and settings (e.g. pulley height, tonearm set-down and return positions, tonearm height and calibration, tracking force and anti-skate set to 2gm per cartridge spec). Cosmetics are excellent... esp the original dustcover that I polished out to minimize the finer surface scratches. Rubber platter mat also cleaned and rejuvenated.

This is an excellent, entry-level turntable from BIC's 9XX series. Buyer must have a receiver, preamp or integrated amp that has a PHONO input/jacks for connecting turntables with MM (moving magnet) type cartridges. A great "get started" auto-return turntable to start playing those records !

Selling locally for $150 FIRM, cash only. Serious Buyers send a NAME, PHONE #, and a preferred DAY & TIME preferred to verify condition and buy/pickup. Most any time between 9am - 4pm, Mon - Sat, is fine. NO SUNDAYS. I will have turntable connected to my stereo system, and play a few minutes of an LP and a 45 to demo all functions work as they should. From a smoke-free/pet-free home.
