Rare 2003 9-3 Vector. Precursor to the AERO.
Turbocharged I-4. 390,000 miles. Mostly highway driven.
6-speed manual. 35-40 mpg on highway (in 6th gear on highway, typically 2K RPM). Oil changed every 5,000 miles using ONLY Mobil 1 0W-40 Synthetic, European blend. Only 93+ fuel, mostly Shell. Recent ignition coils and spark plugs. No misfires. New wiper linkage. Tires less than 2,000 miles. Turbo pulls strong. New HVAC system with A/C compressor replaced. Climate Control. Parking assist. Power seats both sides. Sun roof. New front bumper and grill ($750) with fog lights.
Needs brake replacement, especially the rear. Have new brake rotor for left rear.
Catalytic code came up two weeks ago. Have added cat cleaner to fuel to clean it out. Code still off.
Had balancing chain replaced several years ago. Sometimes will run rough.
Radio amplifier went out last year. Used ones are out there for less than $100. Easy install under drivers seat.
Have had 4 SAABs since 1983.
