Unless buyer can bring the right type of vehicle and at LEAST 2 strong men to load and transport these... do not reply!
I can NOT help with the lifting and loading right now. If not local, buyer should 1st calculate their gas cost and time required to make 1 or more roundtrips for pickup in Greensboro. Number of trips and costs would be based on buyer's vehicle/trailer, dimensions of consoles and how they would fit into buyer's vehicle/trailer. All info needed to calculate this is included in ad !

These are "project" consoles that will need minor repair and servicing. Would be great to restore and enjoy, or resell for a nice profit. I simply don't have the time & energy to work on them as originally planned. Buying these MCM (Mid Century Modern) consoles, would be ideal for an antique shop owner or for a vintage audio enthusiast who needs a few project pieces to work on.

I'll sell them individually or as a lot of 3. $300 FIRM for all 3 consoles, OR... $200 FIRM for just 1 of either tube models... OR $75 FIRM for the 1 Solid State model. Each of the 9302 tube amps from the 2 tube consoles can sell for $200, alone... guaranteed ! The few times I had to part out a console due to a trashed cabinet, I sold the 9302 amps (with tubes) on eBay for $200 each + shipping!

I've had NO problem selling around 40-50 restored Magnavox consoles for $400-600 each. There's a constant demand from people who want to enjoy playing their records on an MCM (Mid Century Modern) console they want in their "retro room". Restored solid state models typically go for $300-400 and tube models go for $400-600.

The 3 Magnavox consoles are complete, in very good cosmetic shape and are restorable. All have an AM FM tuner/radio a record player/changer, and a bin/space for storing records. The bins are accessible from the TOP and will hold around 150 LP's... there are usually 2 curved, gold-colored steel dividers that snap into bottom of bins, to keep LPs upright and reduce the side-to-side pressure. All consoles will need to be diagnosed and repaired, and the record players serviced or rebuilt. As part of the transaction, I can review what each console probably needs, available resources for parts and documents, and how I'd price and advertise the final product if selling. Pictures are displayed in same order as model #s are listed in description... each has a front and rear view. All consoles have their back covers and screw-nuts.

Following are the 3 console model #s, including the model #s of their components:

1-ST648 (1964 Solid State)
R204 AM/FM Receiver
W604 Record Changer

S600 Record Changer
Original Manual/Docs

1-ST662S (1961 Tube-based)
9302 Power Amp
57-12-10 Tuner/PreAmp
R600 Record Changer
7002 Stereo/Multiplex Adapter

SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY, send a NAME, CELL # specific/preferred DAY & TIME time to discuss details and a gameplan, on the phone. (Can be most anytime on a Mon - Sat, between 9am - 4pm). Buyer should either have audio/stereo electronics skills or access to someone who has EXPERIENCE working on consoles.

Although I can NOT help with the lifting and loading, I CAN help with organizing and directing the safest and most efficient way to load and transport these. I know the drill as I have acquired and transported probably 300 consoles in the last 12 years. Since the components must be removed for repair anyway, I have partially disassembled consoles (records changers, amps, top lids/doors, rear masonite panels) which significantly reduces weight for easier lifting and carrying. All original hardware, tubes etc will be labelled in baggies to help match everything up at buyer's location. At pickup, I can work with buyer to review what parts go together.
