Featured in the center of the engagement ring in a four-prong head is one round brilliant cut diamond, measuring 6.29-6.35 x 3.75mm, weighing approximately .90 carats, approximately SI-2 clarity, approximately G color per Gemological Institute of America Diamond Grade Report. Channel set down each side of the shank are four round brilliant-cut diamonds, eight total, measuring approximately 1.7mm to 2.0mm each, weighing approximately 0.21 carats total weight, approximately SI clarity, approximately H-I color overall. The matching wedding band contains thirteen channel-set round brilliant-cut diamonds, measuring approximately 1.4mm each, weighing approximately 0.16 carats total weight, approximately SI clarity, approximately H-I color overall. The total weight of all the diamonds is approximately 1.27 carats total weight. The bridal set weighs approximately 2.6 pennyweight.
Replacement value of these rings is $8,100. This appraisal was done in 2006 and I was told by the jewelery store where they were purchased yesterday when I took them in for inspection and cleaning that the cost of gold is higher now, so they would appraise for more now. I just want to get what I can out of them and my asking price is $8,100. I have a copy of the appraisal and the GIA certification for the diamond.
I had the rings looked at yesterday and they told me there are no flaws or scratches and appear to be in new condition. This is a very nice set.
