Hi! I am sure you can all sympathize with my situation, with the economy being as it is. Things are tight right now, for us. During the summer, my three stepsons come to stay with us. Together with the three children of my own...most say, we are like the Brady Bunch! With six children at home all summer, I must stay here to care for them, and can not be out painting murals as I do during the school year. My husband works full time and even tries to get over time if ever possible. It still doesn't cut it.
So, I started painting some pieces here at home to sell. I am even open to doing some freelance work. I can paint, design logos, tattoo designs...ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Please, if you have a project you could use some artistic help with, or a painting you have always wanted for your home or office...perhaps you want to give someone a very personal and meaningful gift? It seems hard to get work without a piece of paper saying that I am a good artist. My main medium is ink, but I am comfortable with nearly all media. I just recently had to move back to Greensboro and this is a good time for me to focus on what I am most passionate about. I am looking to work with anyone needing portraits, tattoos, murals, skate decks, or just something cool to hang on the wall. On Sat June 21 at 11:00AM ARTMONGERZ gallery on South Elm in downtown Greensboro I will be selling a huge collection of over 300 frames from a framers collection. She needed to part with these frames and wanted artist to have a chance to get them at a steal. $2, $3, or $5 takes a frame home with you. price is determined by small medium or large frame.

This is a great chance to get a good frame at a great price.

I sold 42 frames to one person today and there are still plenty of great frames left.

I am an artist myself and if I could keep them all I would. I am keeping what I can but there are far to many for one person.

Plus the money goes to a good cause the framer that donated these for the sale has fallen on rough times her husband was recently laid off and they are having to move out of their home. The downsizing hits home and she just did not have enough room to keep these frames or believe me she would have.

Camera and Edit Bay Rental (Greensboro)

I'm a editor/producer that recently relocated from Los Angeles to Greensboro and am looking for a camera/lighting package, and edit bay to rent for a web series I'm developing.

Camera wise, any 3-Chip DV camera will suffice i.e., DVX 100a/b, PD-150, GL-1/2 etc., or the HVX 200 (looking to learn the P2 workflow). Editing wise, my background is mostly with MAC based Avids, but Final Cut will suffice.

I haven't been able to locate any rental houses in Greensboro, and was hoping there might be some folks in the community that have equipment they are willing to rent.

Lastly, I'm a member or the Motion Picture Editor's Guild, and the Producer's Guild of America with credits on one-hour dramas and other programming that has aired on NBC, ABC and cable networks.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you and learning about your gear/rates.
